I wote for a different aproche namely have enough titans so that you can have a titan for every situation and mision you will ever encounter (thats at least my goal)

Most of mine (esp. plastic) are not glued ... I designed my Titans (SM1/AT1) in different configurations, with various weapons systems. ?All ranged weapons, none of that C/Cbt silliness. :;): ?Of course I still have a number of SM2/E40K/F/W to complete ... ?:;):

Magnus:  Have you tried them?  I would love to get a batch of the D1Y1 size, but I'm hesitant about whether they are strong enough.  If you've used them, I'd like to hear your results.

I'll take feedback from everyone else as far as magnet size, too.  I'm planning to start building.rebuilding my titans for the AMTL list and I've figured that between banners, Icons, and so on, I will need ~70 magnets.

Sounds like you have similar preferences to myself. All my imperial, eldar, and ork titans have ranged weaponary. My tyranids are the exception.  I have not yet done up my chaos titans though... I think some close combat weapons may find their way onto them...

Hi Guys,

- Andy Skinner and I started experimenting with magnets and Titans quite a few years ago (I think we started back around '99).

- The standard 1/8" x 1/16" rare earth or neodium magnet work fine in this application.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Dafrca,

Andy used to post on one of the old Majordomo lists and on some of the early E-groups...

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Daniel,

Dafrca: Sorry I missed him. Sounds like he had some good ideas.

He's still around... just biding his time. I noticed that he hasn't sold his minis... and that means he still has an attachment... :)

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
