Ah, I see- Greenstuff is the name under which GW sells 2 part putty (blue&yellow).
I've never used this Squadron stuff however....

If you see the squadron stuff, run :O

Its not that bad ?:D , its cheap and quick, and only has one tube. ?But, very had to work with for a small scale model.

*meng stumbles from the depth of his workshop to address this query, a topic he has had way to much experience over the course of the last year...Bah*
I have played around with both green stuff(PSI's Kneadatite)
and milliput.  I prefer Greenstuff.  It has a finer grain and looks smoother in scale.  I've heard of people mixing the two, but I've never tried that.
I store the stuff, as tuffy said, in the fridge.  When I work with it though I heat the two part up seperately under a light.  This makes the putty very, very workable.  Only warm the amount you are going to mix and use.
When I am sculpting I break a figure down in stages. Feet, legs, torso, head, arms.  I put each stage in my "Putty Oven" (there you go tuff) to set up. This take about fifteen or twenty minutes.
I use Chap stick as a lube.  It works better than water if you are using metal tools. (that's my opinion only) This why I do things in stages though.  You have to remove the chap stick from the figure or the next application of putty won't stick.  Use an old tooth brush, warm water and dish soap.
If you have any specific questions I've probably bump up against them so let me know.

P/s I have completed two more figures.  Still no cam, but I'll post pics when next I get accesse
