Some good ideas WMN.
I must admit, I am looking forward to seeing the Adeptus Mechanicus one.

Have you got an example of Finnish ww2 cam Mojarn? I cant say I know what it looks like!
Bravo - I love to use historical paint schemes. I took over a hundred photos just of cam schemes at the Tank Museum in Bovington (UK)

A good example of an AA tank in said camo is found in Andreas Larka's Webpage which is one of the best (if not The best) pictorial resources about Finnish armor.

Any body got any suggestions on how to paint the finnish camo?
1, Catchan green base coat + a dark wash and a light drybrush
2, Snakebite leather brown 'stripes' + light dry brush
3, spacewolves grey spots next to brown 'stripes'
this is a good thread, thanks for the inspiration guys!

Hey guys, great jobs in and reference in this topic. I really dig your Shadowswords KiLLerLooP they kick a+& (sorry, their really was no other way to describe them with my limited vocab). I thought I would pop my new FW Valkyrie camo job here. IOt is time consuming but easy to do. I based it on USMC/USN av-8's scheme.
Base colcour is a fortress grey. All under surfaces are white. The camso is simply a codex grey mixed with black for a deep grey colour. this dark colour is put as a general rule in the center of panels. The extremities of all panels will always be fortress grey. I have a pot premixed as I love this colour. It is probably 2/3 codex and 1/3 black.
Give each of the colours 2-3 watered down coats to keep as much of the fantastic detail the model has. ink in the cracks between the panels with blackink. go over the whole colour areas again with their colours and your nearly done. a very light drybrush of fortress grey over the dark codex looks good and gives the colour a bit of life. an even lighter brushing of white over the whole aircraft and the camo is complete. Then just do the detail and wellah.

P.S. I really, really hope my avatar rocks up on this post, I have been trying for ever to get it going.
