Thanks L4. These are really nice tanks and depending on the race can be quite alien looking. Do you think there would be any interest if i did the same for Baccus vehicles?

Great job on posting the comparison pics.

That being said, pictures never seem to give me what I'm looking for with these minis. They have a lot of detail that is hard to make out in photos. And the terrible thing is, no one carries these so that I can see them up close and personal. Can't find these at conventions either. I know the Monday Knight folks used to show up to conventions but, haven't seen them in quite a few years now.

Being in Australia i rarely get to see ranges in stores etc . Best way i found was to pick the race that looks like the style and size of vehicle you want. I started with some of the grav tanks of the Avarian Alliance. I was going to use them for dark eldar or renegade legion. The underside of the grav tanks with the rotors is very good. Also I have found Monday Knight to be responsive with reasonable postage rates and a 2 week turn around to Australia. Thats pretty good.

We just need good macro photos. Those are hard to get though, even from the manufacturers themselves. It doesn't take a fancy camera though; almost any point and shoot has macro mode, and many have a super macro mode (for 1-2cm distance). You probably need a $15 mini-tripod or bean bag so you can set it on 2-second timer if you don't have enough light.

But these pictures are enough to make me very interested in at least a couple of models...
