I like the Steel Legion scheme myself- the WW2 looks great as well, but it will fuzz the details a little more.
The dirty white/grey will also stand out nicely, especially if you mostly play on a green table.

I would go for the WWII scheme. I also like realistic schemes. However, I can easily accept 1 and 3 as well as realistic for other kinds of environment in the 40k universe (ash wastes and desert style worlds) so really, take the scheme you prefer.  It is your army and the important thing is that it looks good to you Even the pink panther regiment color scheme is an option as long as your world and scenery is ...pink, hehe
