@TRC - Any particular reason you dislike the cannon?

A giant barrel, loaded with screaming shells of flaming promethium and inscribed with holy words, based on a platform turned by a dozen zealots.
The gun isn't hull mounted so can aim where it pleases; it's semi-believable (they built the church around the gun); and the turntable is better protected.
Any other ideas for how it should look?

I had a long standing project to buy a model one and use it as a base (for a CI), but I didn't find any satisfying model for an acceptable price.

I have now finally found the base kit I will use, but it will be more traditional (single track unit).
