Incredible work, brilliant.
Did you borrow the figs to use as a model? because they are suprisingly accurate.

Thanks for the comments.

The kneeling terminator is in squad 2 on thel left, I just caught him as he was standing up :) Leg joins are quite thin, so didnt want to risk it. My little one already managed to loose one of my arms... the terminators of course!

Whenever GW brings new model, I always want to make epic versions. I've done it with the Tyranids, Blood Angels (not the latest ones), and would like to work on Eldar and Chaos Deamons, but too much ambition and not enough time. I started this project last September, and only recently got around to finishing it.

The scenary will eventually be included in my mountain HQ http://www.lexcore.co.uk/Epic4/terrain/SMHQ.htm Although since doing the first piece, I now know where I can get the textured plastic card. Also I was trying to do some tyranic tactical marines for a different diorama, but then this took place instead and may use the Terminators. Hence not committing the Termie's to the scenary.

Painting is currently parked at the moment, as I'm still trying to finish my Tyranid projects.

They look awesome!

Also based on the classic diorama (WD357 pg22), a place to show the squad off.

I seem to recall an even classicer diorama in this white dwarf... ?

A bit before my time. Any other pictures?

I based my models on the WD 357 and a picture I found on the web.

Great stuff there Lextar & it looks like a fun project. I like your use of bits in the halls & the termie conversions are fantastic!

I'm guessing Adam77 is referring to the very Aliens inspired diorama below:

The movie Aliens, of course, in no way inspired anything that GW did in the '80s because it was all inspired by Ronald Regan:

I found this image a few days ago and plannings something similiar for the back wall of my HQ. My wife described it as "A guy's doll house".

Does anyone have a scan of the picture in WS357 pg22? As I'm sick of flipping through the book.

Also do you think I should keep my scneary the same colours or colour it all drab grey?

I'm currently trying to paint these now and its looking a bit bland :( Anyone got some good pictures of epic terminators?

I collect Ultramarines and so these are blue with gold shoulder rims and weapons. The extra leg plate I've coloured white. At the moment it looks a bit bland.

Any recommendations? Should I colour the helmet gold or white etc?
