I agree that Chaos War Engines would be awesome, and was thinking only yesterday that some Nurgley Towers and Catapults would be awesome.

However, I do really like frogbear's suggestion of a Chaos sprue/pack that has an assortment of motifs and turrets and daemonic faces to make or convert our own stuff with. It would also alleviate the issue of always keeping an eye on what FW are doing and then following a step behind. It would also free up people on budgets to get the vehicles they need for new lists more easily without needing a mortgage to shop on Ebay with.

Otherwise, I think that the Titan (and Chaos Titan) weapons systems could do with a rethink and remake. The old Titans are fine, easy to come by and not too silly money-wise. But the heads, weapons, tails and accessories... Not so much. Plus the old designs are still good, and it is mostly the details like the weapons and heads that need an update to 'modernise' the older models. Carl Woodrow's 20th Anniversary Warlord Titan is a great example of this.

Necrons could do with C'Tan and War Engines. I know C'Tan would be a low-return thing though as most folks only want one of each, but still.

A new Imperial Leviathan, Capitol Imperialis and Basilica Imperialis would be very welcome too!

Finally, some stuff like Squats could do with some new additional units, and Dark Eldar could do with most things. But I always got the impression that these were more 'fringe' armies compared to Tyranids for example, and could wait either until GW redesigns them or people come up with some good concept art. And the 'Nids need love from the ground up - we even know what they look like nowadays, but aside from some tempting previews I've not seen anything like a proper set of model proxies for them.

I really wish someone was doing nids and would have, lets say, Genestealers and Raveners ready soon...

Personally I'd quie like to see a proper SpaceMachines Scaryzero with all or most of the weapon options and which was properly scaled compared to the infantry rather than the ugly and way over sized one.

right now, my list of wants (everchanging as it may be) would be evil elves, damn straight (a friend is apparently starting up a 40k army of them once the new dex is out, so a smaller scale would be damned nice to tempt him)

i'd also quite like to see pleasure knights of the various types, because i have always liked a good ********ing.

there are some robot lesser-war-engines that i understand to be in the works, and i am hella-eager to get my mits on them. a tomb stalker would be very nice, but the other larger ones seem fairly easy to find suitable proxies for (i'm looking at various "flying saucer" models here, esp the Firestorm Armada fleet of such design)

ditto on the other spacebug projects in the works. papa likes.

and some nice orc types would be nice to see aswell.

but the highest priority "thing i have seen no movement on" would definitely be the evil elves, second only to the "hurry up and get me my robot pyramids"

i suspect that the loathed gun-happy-anime-space-communist players would like some of their stuff too. but bollocks to them, boo hiss XD

I wonder if there are any proxy parts that look like they belong on a Warmonger Titan? Would be nice, considering how rare they are...

What's that Eldar model, a light tank?

Yes. Supposed to be featured in IA 11.

Cool.

Pity I have no interest in the Eldar. :-)

Perhaps the new DE codex will interest me in Naughty Space Elves. Their fluff and design idiom hasn't exactly made me enamoured of them.

Argh.

That light tank doesn't look like it would be too difficult to make a model of, but I wonder what use it will be in E:A. Oh well, I suppose I'll take a look at it when it's released.

Just looking at it, I suspect Jes Goodwin didn't have anything to do with it's design. It looks as if they chopped up a falcon, ditched all of the engine parts, then glued it back together.

As for the DE, I will withhold judgement until I see what they look like.
