I should have clarified:  The guns can't freely elevate without the bottom of the gun hitting the hull of the vehicle.  You can glue them level or at ~45 degrees, but you need to do a bit more if you want the turret turned & >45 degrees.  

Nothing a Pcard turret ring couldn't fix.

Looking at my three unbuilt FW hydras - the man has a point, can't be elevated above about 50 degrees without removing the rear of the guns.
