I’d buy increasing numbers depending on the numbers of available models. Assuming excellent quality final models (and your printed nun looks very promising!) then I’d be interested in enough Astronuns for a 4k army and maybe a little over for choice of selections. That would be using the Witch Hunters / Ordo Hereticus list. From an initial read over some elements of the Inquisition lists look perhaps a little over-powered, but I may be totally wrong and will need to try them out in battle. I can see the Witch Hunters list getting a lot more attention should these come out so if there are any issues they can be playtested and fixed.

Hopefully if your project takes off some of the other CAD guys might step in to provide Astronun vehicle plates, ‘Ghost-dispeler’ and ‘Firestarter’ tanks, along with the ‘Sorry I’ve been a naughty boy’ walker.

For the nuns I would like to see a command sister waving a chainsword or whatever as this num would be a different pose from the others and hard to convert. This model could be converted with different weapons and/or other bits then for variant units champions and army characters. I would also be interested in some ‘Sorry I’ve been a naughty girl! It’s chainsaw bondage payback time’ astronuns. If just one pose was made perhaps it could it be made in such a way that her hands and chainsaw could be thin and mobile enough to be bent into different positions, that would be a bonus.

                                                But back OT ... Good point ... the numbers would depend on the different types and poses somewhat.  But regardless ... I'll take a bunch !

Epic- A version of the game with even smaller models that is often dominated by titans which are vehicles the size of a large building and have the ability to pwn...everything. There is also infantry, whose only function in Epic is to provide valuable traction to Titans walking across snowy paths.

They look stunning, very impressive work.

I'd be interested in a couple of formations myself, initially using as proxies with my Space Marine army.  If more Astronuns became available in the future I'd definitely be looking at expanding them into a full force!

I'd need 18 stands of basic Nuns and 18 stands of heavy weapons nuns.  I've already got my 18 stands of jet pack females courtesy of EW, so at that price point I wouldn't bother replacing them.  If the cost were lower I would buy another company of Nuns and perhaps the jumpers.

I would use them as proxies for a Net Epic SoB army. As I'd like to start with 3 companies it means I'll need 9 formations (of 6 units) for starters plus 3 command units.

at 15-18 stands of each.

If I can get my local Epic-ureans to agree to my running a full WH army...well, then, I'd definitely be down for a full 3K point (minimum) army, with all the trimmings ("trimmings" in this case being vehicles, Seraphim, Dominions, Sisterly Rhinos, Old Priest/Young Priest Missile-Lobbing Pipe Organ tanks, etc.
