Also, am curious as to how you achieved the nice bevel on the bases? Are these pre-made or a custom job?

Steve54 is correct, they are FoW bases.

Ah! The old day's when assualt marines could have a rhino...:-)
Teleport beacons good and i like how you're sticking to the codex markings and everything; very neat work.

Those Ultramarine vehicles look fantastic, as do the conversions, the teleport marker is very cool.  :)

These are spectacular.

how are you making the banners for the Land Raiders?
Are they paper or Greenstuff?

Thanks Rug, Apocolocyntosis, and Ogre44.
The army shot is a long way off. I'm doing only vehicles and such at the moment as I'm still not sure on how I want to base my infantry.
The banners are plastic hanging tabards from the SM 40k range.

Can't say as I'm a far of these older models, but there's no denying they're excelently painted.

What, not even the Mk1 Whirlwind??

They look great.  I like most of the older models better with a few exceptions: the newer predator looks better but the old one is not bad; now the old Thunderbrick is bad but it has bold character.

Nice work. I do not like the old models but I very much admire the work you have done to them.

Ok, you said RL is there and such..but...a group picture would be nice please :)
