Yeah, that aint gonna happen anytime soon. I might do a "How many titans do you have" deal, but whipping out everything scares me...  :sulk:

Ok, so I decided to see what I have as far as titans go. I was a big fan of AT (about a decade later), so I wanted a lot of titans. I am actually disappointed. I thought I had a lot more. Oh well.

Add to this pic 1 Mega Gargant (on sprue), 1 Old School Great Gargant, 1 Phantom, 2 MkII Metal Warlords, and 2 Reavers.

And I just recently got rid of 4 Warlords to boot (before this pic was taken). And yes, I have carapaces and weapons for every warlord.

I also plan on getting a Reaver and 2 Warhounds from Forgeworld now that the Pound is in freefall. And I really want a new metal Warlord too.

Seems like a nice idea for a thread and I’m loving the armies MoK! I’m impressed by how many you have painted to such a very high standard!

Sadly at the moment my own painted Epic is shamefully meagre (hopefully by year's end a lot more will be done):

Getting these out for the first time in years I realise I still need to do a little repair work from post damage too, from when the Fanatic guys posted them back to me and few years ago.

I have maybe 20 times that unpainted though :. Some is un put-together, a lot packed away and I’m afraid I cheated on the totality - this is just the sprawl I have out now (at a later date when/if I buy a display cabinet for my epic armies everything could become a possibility)

A mix of models for Exodite, Death Korps of Krieg and Chaos armies. I may have gone a bit OTT with the Dreadclaws... still, they are cute models

Flyers and some of a 3k Saim-hann army in shot. Nb. the Avatar isn’t my paintjob and needs stripping at some point.

In this unintentionally funny photo one Greater Knarloc menaces a Landing Craft, whilst the other is crushed by sprawling boxes of miniatures (a genuine danger in my room at present – can’t way till I ebay a lot of the clutter and sort better storage).

@SilentBob: So that's where my new/old titan came from!  :vD

@GlynG: Where did you get the Dreadclaws and Deathwheels Glyn?

I really meant it when I said I have dozens.  8v)

They have never all seen the table. Many have horrible paintjobs that I need to strip. I got the majority of these on ebay way back in the day when Epic stuff went for pennies. Is amazing the amount of metal weapon and head options I have (though I only have one or two of most).

A friend and I had grand plans to build an entire Titan Legion that never came to fruition. I forget what the TO&E of a Legion is now.

It is great to see such amazing collections!

I'm also heartened to think that most (if not all) of what we see here will be used to play Epic (and lets face it, these things are supposed to be played with, not just looked at).

Great stuff fellas.

Cheers,
Steve.

Markonz Painting Spree's for the win! I've always liked yr impressive output man.
(is using 'pre taken' photo's cheating? :;): !)

Glynn, your lot looks like once it's all sorted out there will be some lovely armies arriving from it all. My Top Tip: EBAY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN! I had way to much spare stuff laying around, i identified several armies i really wanted to make, though about -realistically- what i was gonna use and what sort of stuff was pure fantasy (when would i ever nded 16 whirlwinds?!) and got rid of it all!  Out of that i've been slowly but surely chomping through armies that i use on a regular basis at a steady rate; all at a painting standard i'm pretty happy with.
For the record i have about 8k of orks, 8k of marines, 6 of eldar and guard (the guard -with a few more additions i need- can be fielded as AMTL troops or Seige Troops too), 5k or 'nids (need's expanding to make them a bit more usable), 8k of chaos and a 3k feral ork army that needs tinkering with. There's also about 4k of titans in total to back up and bolster forces as neccasary.
as you can see the 8k mark tends to work quite well as far as flexibility and size are concerned.
And the plus point of selling stuff; you'll have loads of spare dosh with which to 'fine hone' yr remaining collection with hard to get stuff.

A little more than 2p!

So how much time did you people spend unloading all your stuff from storage, neatly laying everything out and taking a photo... just to have to pack everything away again?

I have evrything packed away in boxes, so probably have two wardrobe full, plus a few in boxes stored away around the house and garage. I have no time to paint them, never mind unpacking it all just to take a photo :op

I would like to introduce you to my Man-Cave. It is my joy but a source of endless amusement and exasperation for my wife.

We shall start in Basement Room #1; the storage, display, and work area. Most of my armies are out for easy access, inspiration, and to remind me that I shall never paint all of this in my life.

This first area is where the bulk of my collection is kept, both on shelf and in boxes. It also shows my conversion/cutting/filing,gluing area.

This next area is Rules/painting/and additional storage area.

Basement Room #2, or the Gaming Room, is where I store most of my terrain and where dice is thrown. As you can see, it is a bit of a mess as the leftovers of the weekly WHFRP night has not been cleaned up.

Here is the mini-fridge and terrain shelves.

And of course, the graveyard.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread. ++Hijack over++

Great job polishing of that booze.  The liver is evil and must be punished.  Oh and I aspire to a man cave/geek room (GF's term for it) of this magnitude, but I'll probably have to settle for one room for all my hobbies (mini's, guitars and amps, beer making).  Excellent space.

It took AGES!! Did it for my website, marines and nids January 2008, rest January 2009. Took quite a bit of willpower to get everything out and photograph it all...  :))

@ bob, Love the man-cave!!

OK no beating Markconz even by a long shot... Anyway took some time off today and took this shot, it includes pretty much everything I have painted.

In fact I dont aim to make my collection all that much bigger: I would like to add more IG infantry, more imperial titans, a Goff clan for the orks, plus some more gargants, a bunch of jet bikes for the eldar, and some bits and pieces. And most of that Ive already begun! When thats done Id love to add more detail and stuff to whats already there, rather than buy more stuff.
