Thanks, For anyone who's interested, these guys are the PDF for the homeworld of the 40k space marine chapter I created. There isn't much mentioned about the PDF in the attached files since this part of the fluff focused on the marine chapter mostly.

Well I've been busy trying to finish up a few more BFG ships and my second 40k tac squad but I'm back with a test mini for the color scheme and weathering for the two knight titan formations I plan on painting. It's been rainy here and humid so I've not had the chance to varnish him to hide the decals but it shouldn't detract much. Let me know what you think.

Love the .pdfs for the marine chapter

Just a question though. Where is everyone getting the pic to represent their marines and colour them the way they want?

I thought there was a site up years ago where you could do this. Anyone know where it is?

Thanks

Those pdf's are something else, how did you construct them? Did you get a copy printed out for yourself from a printers?

Yeah, b&c is where they have the painter up. very good tool I might add. The pdf's were done using photoshop for the covers, and then laid out in Indesign after I'd come up with a workable concept. All the art and photos other than the marine color scheme images are things I either painted or shot for the book same as the fluff I wrote for it based on my studies of ancient egyptian culture and language. I do have a mind to print it out eventually but right now I'm waiting for the new marine codex so I can update the lists. I'm glad you like them though. I'm thinking of expanding into two more books containing the information on the Argentum PDF and naval fleet.

I got sidetracked and decided to tac up one of the warlord titans that I got. In the process I decided that I really disliked the old style arm attachment partly because it just hung to low and partly because I like the metal gatling blaster I had better so I fabricated a new arm attachment. Of course I really need to put this aside until I get teh rest of the paladins painted.

As an aside, if anyone has a couple of modern metal warlord titan heads I'd love to get a couple since I'd rather not use the head on it right now.

Looks good, but I like the old arms. They complete the old school look of this Warlord type.

thanks, well I'm nearly done with the first unit of paladins to be used as forge knights. I have been thinking about adding either a 3rd warlord to the list or I think 3 warhounds. So comparing the prices of the forgeworld epic warhound and the SG one, I got a little curious, has anyone ever actually purchased the epic Armageddon SG warhound? I don't think I've ever seen a pic of it outside of that one on the GW site.

I'm debating adding one from SG and a pack from forgeworld or just adding 2 packs from forgeworld.

well another update. I finished up the first paladin forge knight squad. I might be persuaded to go out and take better pics later, but for now these work.

Had a bit of extra time so I went ahead and painted up one of otterman's Armageddon Medusa's he sent up as a test for the rest of my IG vehicles. I should have varnished the decals before application so I wouldn't have gotten the frosting but it seems to only be visible from a couple of angles and this is just a color scheme test.
