The old Daemon Primarch miniature had him carrying a scepter of sorts.Don't know if some kind of staff (sort of like Ahrimann) would be appropriate?

IIRC - if I recall correctly

The decision to cast is up to you.

Casting in metal typically requires a master pattern that can withstand high heat and pressure (vulcanization). Greenstuff and metal can withstand that.

As far as sculpting, you can sculpt in any material you wish (or have). Clay, sculpey, milliput, procreate, and so forth. All of those can be cast with room-temperature silicon.

In W/D 266, found some intell on Magnus. ?"Physical Giant, fiery red hair, single baleful eye" ... No picture ... I'd imagine his armor is much like a Thousand Son Sorcerer ... only more ornate. With cape, robe or tabard. ?No mention of weapon, but I've seen Thousand Sons Sorcerers with either a sword or axe. But the Old SM2 fig has a Mace type weapon, with the business end being a big bird claw gripping a sphere. The SM2 fig also has a tabard. ? And since he is a cyclops, I'd have have him without a helmet, to show his one eye and red hair ... And you said you read he carried two swords in a Codex or some other tome.  So a big guy with long hair and 1 eye, and 2 swords ! :)   Hope that helps ...  :D

Even in the Horus Heresy Books Angron uses a Chainglaive iirc.
I found this here:

The image which shows him with the Chainglaive is from John Blanche but i can't find it :(

Fulgrim, Mortarian, Angeron and soon Magnus !  That pretty much covers the parties !  I like them much, much better than the 40k size SM2 figs.  Ogryn size figs or a little bigger are much, much better, IMO.   And as far as Angeron, maybe a chainglave in one hand and an axe in the other ?  He's supposed to be a Badd Mutha !  Right !?  That's the problem with G/W "fluff" ... It changes with the wind.  The SM2 Angeron has a big sword !?  :D

otterman i dont know why green stuff i'm a bit nieve when it comes to this stuff as i just dont have the exsperiance to know what to use when

what would you use instead of green stuff? i have some milli putty but dont like the texture.

I can't say I've been very productive since I was last here, but I got a couple of things done. ?Take a look here. ?And like I've said here before, I find procreate useful for 6mm because it takes small details well, and the colour helps you to see the small details.

Not bad for your first try with GS! ?Especially considering the 6mm scale.
Although some of the photos are pretty dark, and hard to see. ?It's because of the glare from the white background, I think. ?I'd recommend putting then sculpts in front of something dark blue/grey/black.

Keep going!
