1. It's BlackLEGION :D
2. I don't base my vehicles. So i can't give you any advise here, sorry :(
But for infantry i use bird's sand and glue this in thebase. Then i drybrush the base in the apropiate colours.
Because my game board theme is Ash Wastes i prime all my bases black, drybrush them with Codex Grey, then with Bubonic Brown and last with Rotting Flesh.
The effect can be seen here: http://www.epic-battles.de/index.p....tart=45

Very nice, edge highlighting without drybrushing is quite hard in epic and you've pulled it off exceptionally well. Great work! Though maybe some company markings for the tanks? Looks neato and saves alot of headaches during games

Looking really good.  I think the lights would really benefit from getting the same sort of attention that you have given the lenses.  Possibly going into a white center and maybe a little darker orange around the sides.  The flat yellow looks ok but seeing the rest of the model and the fantastic effect on the lenses I think you could really enhance the overall look quite easily with a little work.

Progress so far:

Cheers Olly! Someone on the ammobunker forums suggested company markings. I think i will try and finish most of the tanks, then come back and see how it goes. I have a habit of losing interest so i want to see myself getting stuff actually done. Know what i mean?
An easy way to edge highlight is to put paint on the brush ( obviously ) then wipe most of it off on the paint lid so you don't have a heavily loaded brush. Then hold your brush at 45 degress to the corner you are painting. Then go back and touch it up carefully!

Mark_Logue, the yellow is actually golden yellow around the sides, sunburst on the flat bits and then edge highlighted with bad moon yellow it just doesn't show up on the pics. I tried it on a bretonnian knight ages ago and it looked ok. I think the contrast is a bit weak for epic though. Might have to mix a bad moon yellow highlight and try that.
I was also thinking this morning that it might need a dividing line between the two parts. What do you think?

Heres the pic of the knight:

Oh yeah, forgot about this. My AI Thunderbolt. Needs edge highlighting again as i changed how i do it.

New Slight Update:

Now have seen it on the pics, it needs touching up a bit. Light was in awkward place.
Two more then maybe some infantry?

Next update:
Well this one took a while. I've actually had these pics for ages but my mum managed to lose the camera cable.

Firstly:

Thats the battery done.

Have also nearly finished 7 stands of infantry ( just the guns to do, oh and cleaning up the bases and adding flock )
I decided to try washing the faces to get a bit of detail as they looked a bit odd with blank faces. Now i'm not sure if they are too dark.  :-/

Another random pic

Another thing, what colour grass should i use for the bases?
