So here they are all freshly cast from Gregster's Lab spire parts for my imperator. Fabulous job done on these i'm very greatful for all the effort put into the design work and casting. Images of these on the actual model soon.

Chopped up a spire base and added it to the leg bastion. There was going to be a turret here of somekind but now there is one that matches the spire weapons.

That looks stunning MD, It really captures the theme, the detailed bits look stunning, this is going to look stunning when painted, are you planning on adding and little fellows on the bastions !

Hmm, I guess the leg compartment could sort of 'lift' or 'slide' down to the ground when it needs to unleash its load of infantry?

@ Consul Avenging Angel, true scale of course.

@ epic, long time before this thing sees paint.

@ malika2, yes the bastion has presented a few problems. The extreme leg pose on this model has meant that doing convincing bastions like on the old kit has been problamatic. Making this piece so that it will fit on both legs has taken much effort due to the toes getting in the way. The feet will be seeing some attention soon I want to build them up and have a larger footprint so that it looks like the model has a better weight spread on ground pressure, at the moment the feet would most likely sink into the ground. So bigger feet and a build up towards the bastions so that it looks like if the model stood up straight the bastions would align better with the stairs that will be added.
