Hey thanks chaps.

This thing has proven harder to build than the castle on top. I wanted to use the original leg armour plate so that it would just fit on the finished model easy which it will but the extreme gunslinger pose has caused endless trouble due to the angle of the feet in comparison with the ankle joint. The toes get in the way which has caused some design compromises. Talking of which I did intend to have the three arched doors on the front like on the original model but this proved very difficult to do and I wasn't satisfied with it so in the end I glued a WM base on the front and used a Gregster's Lab tile as a door and some acrylic arches to match the battlements. All in all not what I intended at the beggining of building this but there you go.

We hope to be able to cast this item once finished as part of a conversion kit we are looking into.

How are we expected to buy anything in the store now that such a prospect has been raised? Time to save for the massive Imperator conversion pack!

Cool that you might be casting and selling it :) Depending how it comes out I might be interested. So long as there'll be a Warmonger variant anyway.

Will the primary weapons be some or all CAD?

Primary weapons will be the original rotary cannon as per the kit maybe with a few scale tweaks and the plasma annihilator will be the back half of the melta cannon and hopefully a resin cast barrel piece.

There are several components that need designing yet and we need to see how certain parts can be cast.

Cracking work on the legs Dakka, I have to get back to mine at some point as the back of the model i built does not go into much detail , look forward to the finished product. And pester microworld to get ratmen in your store soon lol.

I hear you on the ratmen i'm sure i'll get them in stock once released.

Work on the imperator continues although very slowly, the bastion is almost done now but I still need to work on the feet area and i'm waiting on my grester's lab goodies before continuing on the castle.

Looking forward to see the castle when more bits turn up. I need to get some hobby time myself, i am turning into one of those hoarders with a growing lead pile that is not helped by new releases so it never goes down........ :{[]

My new components for the imperator have arrived from Gregster's lab and i'm well pleased with them I must say he's done a wonderful job. I'll get some pictures of them up over the weekend they really do help make the model.

Next from the man will be the rear laser tower and hopefully the corner turrets for the platform.

Almost finished the bastion and after that i'll continue with the new kit project platform and do something with the feet as well.
