Back to work this week and busy with vanguard in the evenings so absolutely zero hobby progress to report, I hate letting a week go by without progressing something.

Hopefully the weekend will allow a window of opportunity.

Hell pratically a month since my last post that's not good.

First finished models of the year and it's taken ages to get them done. In fact these are the first painted models since vanguard started up in mid september last year. Vanguard takes up most of my free time so hobby time opportunities are few and far between at the moment which has scuppered my original plans for current projects completely. Still I can't complain if the business is doing ok can I.

Anyway on to the models this time we have more for the World Eaters in the form of a unit of Red Butcher terminators I like these guys. I wanted them to look like they were charging around attacking all and sundry so put them on some large oval bases instead to make them stand out from the more regimented look of the strip based regulars.

Oh so you mean your output is now the same as us mortals then, eh? ;)
Nice thematic units. Especially the bloody bit.

@ Stormwind, bases are custom cut acrylic made for me by Battlescene Designs they are two layer like the strip bases I had in store but these have around ten holes in them which allows for very flexible figure positioning.

Jimmy, Apoc thanks guys.

Cheers i'm quite pleased with them.

@AbrahamCaribdis, yes six to a base to help fill the space really, they are big bases and I think of these psycho's basically as a bunch of individual blood thirsty killers killing until they are killed with such things as squad organisation and tactics a distant memory for these guys. They are treated as a useful but expendable resource by the legion with plenty of replacements to fill the recovered armour for the next battle.

@Rasta, thanks buddy.

Some assault transports for these guys will probably be next.

Thanks buddy appreciated, I do like to follow the fluff that's why I buy the books without the history/lore background whatever you want to call it all these models are just meaningless fictions IMHO.

Assault carriers for these guys now well underway.
