Here's the Ragnaroks in winther camo. I can't quite decide if I want to add some further weathering to make it look even more gritty...
Also I've ben addin a few touches to the bases of the Chaos infantry. I figured that the Khorne infantry in particular would benefit from having some skulls sculpted onto the base from Green Stuff.

Nice winter paint job on the KV-2s, I mean ... well you know !  With that paint job and all that detail they look bigger than 6mm ! More like 15mm or Bigger !

Lovely Rags there WMN!
One thing that I have always noticed in winter cam schemes is how dirty everything looks - dried mud and dirt show up even more than before because of the white paint. All boot scrapes and mark thus look worse than normal.

Yep, in the ROK, we'd white wash our M113s and the Tankers, their M60s etc. ... didn't take long to get filthy ! So W/M ... dirty'm up !

The Chaos and Ragnaroks both look excellent. In my opinion the dirty white would be from fighting on a world with seasons. Almost pure white if it was winter world where there are just layers upon layers of snow, with little dust to kick up.

Here's the based Chaos stuff. I'm waiting a bit with the CSM infantry as I needed to clear out a few things about the stand composition (the character base in particular: If it is to be based exactly according to what's on the spure there will only be the 3 characters which looks a bit empty IMO.)

Also I'm working on the E/W Hoplons. Just need to finish off the tracks and wheels and do somewhing about the wind screens. I might just paint a thin black line for those as it looks like some sort of armoured blinds rather than actual windows. Also since the vehicle it has such big slab sides I was thinking about adding some sort of squadron markings for extra detail.

Wow ! That's a lot of well painted Chaos ! Nice job ! The Hoplons look great ... I believe painting a thin black line as a vision slit is the way I'll do mine ! That's the way the WWII German Hanomag 250 looked ... And nice pic of "The Fly" !!!! "help me ... help me ..."
