So awesome!!! I'm also in the process of building up my forces for cold war gone hot - I've enjoyed it ever since GDW's Twilight 2000 :)

Thanks gents!

Ahh, Twighlight 2000... I remember that one. Only played it once or twice, but quite entertaining. I wish we had managed to play that more

Thanks for posting, Dave!

This seemed to be a well-received game. Amerger84 was a good sport since the scenario called for the forward deployed Brits (1/2 his force) to be wiped out by the nuke, leaving him with the W. German territorials. He knew something was up when he had twice the stuff that everyone else had, but I was just throwing them down in/around the town without too much thought...

Unfortunately we didn't get to the French nukes (plural! lol) because the Soviet players were having too much fun blasting NATO stuff to grab objectives.

Great looking table. Glad to hear things ran smoothly and it was well received.

Love this thread!!! I've been working on a few cold war 1985 forces as well! GHQ for Russians and Germans, Heroics and Ros for the British - recommend them all, H&R are nice value for money, and the infantry is awesome!

More shots of the game. Two views of the empty board:

Note the small town in the foreground. It's not long for this world.Image
