Well, its been a few months.
My original thoughts was I'd be back in my hobby space early July but unfortunately I had another month of real life to deal with first.
Hopefully I can get back into the semi regular updates now though.

To start with, a big batch of "Leman Russ" tanks to help with the running my AM figs as a Guard Army - and to give me something else to select apart from Venators when playing AM cataphractii.

VMC Tinny Tin Base coat,
VMC Brassy Brass dry brush,
AP Dark tone wash,
AP Matt antishine.

For the larger areas/entire vehicles where brass is both the base vehicle colour & highlight panel colour, I tend to paint the base coat, dry brush some gun metal over the tin, then paint the panels in fresh coat of tin before dry brushing brass over whole thing. Hard to see on pics, but gives the base colour a slightly different tint (more grimy metallic) then the highlight panels.

We (Jimthewookie, Locknar, Moridin, Pdp & myself) will be there Sunday.
Not participating in the tourney but dropping in to say hi, put names to faces and drool over every ones figs!

Next year might see few of us jump in, but this time round wasn't able to commit.

Impressive, lovely army! Great choices for the counts-as minis, great color scheme, and it's inspirational to see the sheer size of it! It actually kinda makes me angry...

Where is that blitz objective from?
