I wish people would stop posting excellently painted and inspirational chaos armies - i have an orc horde to complete and don't need anymore distractions.

excellent work....that is the beauty of chaos..so tempting

to quote AC/DC - Let there be rock!

Noise Marines look great...but u should have them in denim with 80s big hair! :)

this EC army looks awesome....i am sure all ur opponents will weep at the sight of its beauty and immediately give themselves up to Slaneesh! :D

Brilliant work, especially the Land Raiders.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback, i really took my time on this army to make sure i didnt have sloppy painting. Not saying there isn't any but there is far less then normal. Appreciate the positive comments it drives me harder to do more and complete this army.

Unfortunately I don't have anyone in my area that plays, so i model and sell the armies on ebay so i can fund the next modeling project.

Thx all for looking,

Nooooo! you must start recruiting other players so u can play...its a tragedy that u paint these great armies and dont even get to play any games with them :(

and happy to give positive feedback when someone presents such great looking minis, motivates lazy sods like me to get cracking on my own stuff :)

We were just discussing this last night after our game of Warmaster. Now, I live in a metro area (Chicago) which may affect things, but after talking to a great many people about SGs I've become convinced that there is a large population of gamers with Epic or other SG armies. The trick is to get them to dig them out and actually use them. This is the part that is very hard. Threats of violence are surprisingly ineffective.

There are a smaller number of gamers who say they want to start a new SG force, but they very often watch a game or participate in an intro game and are never heard from again.

Have you tried offering punch and pie? More people will come if they think there'll be punch and pie.

They look good blind. I'm a real fan of those grass tufts.

I think a big hurdle for me is that i don't know the rules good enough, and no ammount of reading will help that unless i can get some practical use out of it. I'll keep trying to convert people so i can get a better understanding of the rules in use. Then maybe i can make a showing at my local store with like 5 painted 1500 point armies to see if anyone would be interested to sit down and give it a go on wh40k night.

Have you tried gaming the intro scenarios by yourself? They teach the game pretty well even without an opponent.
