Um, well, at least you didn't ask "how hard can it be?" We all know that line's fatal.

Have cast the various APC turrets. I think the weapons will have to be embiggened for the sake of
1) Strength
2) Identification on the battlefield.

I'm requesting a US volunteer or two to paint up some resin samples for further evaluation. L-4, I'm looking at you...

I can paint some up for you. I'm always looking for distractions from my regular painting items.

Great, I was hoping some friends of mine would produce such a model whilst I'm away ready for my return and my dreams have come true...

I want homebrewed IG proxy tanks rather than those ridiculous GW things i've got at the moment...

Heya Dave, I haven't forgotten ye, just having production and RL issues.

Ex-wife's brother is in critical condition (some sort of diabetic thing)
Yen's car crash (material damage only)
Dad's lung cancer (unknown severity)
My near-miss with man-cancer

No problem Oman, take your time. Hooray for the near miss, hopefully the other stuff follows suit.

Dave, what's the story with the prototype painting?

Stoopid brain. I can't make it stop thinking of things to do (except by assaulting it with liquor and woman). Todays torment - cables.

Most people know that steel guitar strings make great miniature cables. They also know that steel guitar strings are really stiff and hard.

Fewer people know that DragonForge minis sells pewter casts of those cables, which makes them very ductile (bendy) and easy to work with. Cheaper, too!
(see http://www.dragonforge.com/for%20sale%2 ... 01%201.jpg)

The land of cables seems to end there. But why should it? It should be fairly straightforward to 3D up some interesting cable types. Bronzing will be cheap, considering the low volumes involved, and I've already established an ability to take things to pewter.

So let it be done!

...Is it wrong that I love you for this train of thought? O0

I'm hoping someone will create humor with this.
