hehe, thanks! I can make stuff look pretty and work pretty well. Army lists and the like, some might argue otherwise. :)

the bikes look fantastic, I'm not a huge fan of the earlier edition bike models myself, but you've gone a long way to change my mind :)

how you get your yellows so smooth and vibrant is a mystery to me!

It's really simple... always paint yellow over a white primer. Yellow is too thin pigment wise unless you get cadmium based yellow.

Just showing that I can actually get work done in January. :) I've had these guys sitting around for probably a year now and I've finally gotten them finished. I've been wanting to run ground Marines in Epic for a while since air assault got boring and this is a big part of that along with the bikes. I may go back later and fix up some of the blends on the arrows. got a bit brighter than I wanted.

Enjoy!

Jaw dropping stuff..... they look like they're glowing!

When you get them on the table, always appreciate playtests for the IF list ;)

Thanks!

@Kyuss: Probably won't be for awhile. I usually run these as Codex Marines, especially now that I'm trying to get the AdMech stuff tested.

@Reedar: I think the family portrait would be rather lackluster for the time being :) IF was one of my first Epic armies and comparing these to the rest of the models, it's quite telling how much things have changed since I started painting epic. Some of my older models like the IF Raiders and tactical detachments are much less refined in their coloring and highlighting. It's to the point they kind of look out of place!
