It'd be great to get an armyshot on the various pieces of terrain when you've finished them.

I'll do, but I'm currently on need of terrain, so I'm makeing a lot of things.. once I've got some of them finished I'll do many "armyshot" photos of the Tyranid terrain XDD

For now... here it is the new piece I'm working with... any ideas on how to preceed? (thinking on doing more carapace on the upper part of the model up to the "entrance"...

I really love the terrain. You've almost gone to more effort making it than painting the army. What a brilliant job.

well, I'd definitely say I've just put all my effort both on modeling (terrain and miniatures) and painting... but it's just I can't paint better.. :nooo
I'd say that a lot of people paint better than I do, but not a lot of people make this kind of terrain and it is just that, being it so "unique" makes it look better than it really is xD
PS: Thanks! ;D

Art means giving yourself permission to fail. Have courage, you're doing great things.

Yeah right, I wouldn't stress about it at all. It's all looking great! It would be an easy win to change the colour of the ground on that last piece to make the "ruins" pop a bit more maybe. Just stipple on a bit of green/khaki, or red/brown or whatever. Keep doing what you're doing though, looks like you're having fun playing!!!

I don't mean to take away from the fantastic miniatures by what I said. It's just really refreshing to see such lengths being gone to to produce wonderful terrain. For me it's almost an afterthought, and my gaming tables could look so much better with extra effort.

Don't worry man!
I was jokeing :)
(and thanks to all for the encouragement xD)

Truth is I do my besto both on painting and sculping (but I'm really new on the busines; the greenstuff you see here is all the sculping I've done in my life xD), but I'm trying to get better!

For now... new project!

Two Tyranid buildings (smaller than the hive nest) that are on early stage.
I'll try to do some "buildings" with more tyranid style; looking like the torax of a 40k Tyranid monstruous creature.

hope you like the idea.
