I'm coming to the end of my Goffs (but not the end of the Ork force!) and I decided to reward myself with a Gargant.

The Great Gargant is one of the enduring images of Epic that I hold, but rather than jump in at the deep end, I decided to practice on a Slasher first.

I think he turned out ok, though I over glazed the black armour and killed the two brush highlighting I so carefully did... doh!

Hope you like him :)

In other news, I have moved house an am now full time painting, I hope its ok to offer out my services here on the forum if anyone wants any stuff painted? Mods, feel free to tell me if this is not cool :)

The reds are done in three different ways depending on what it is.

For this guy it was all p3 reds, two brush blended where necessary.

Basecoat Skorne red, the shade down with sanguine red base, then mixed with some coal black.

Then edge highlighted with khador red base and khador red highlight.

The evil sunz are much the same, but using one if the foundry red triads that is similar to the old evil sunz red paint.

The goff tanks use one of the GW red triads, as I wanted to try them out.

I will try to do a step by step when I do the next bits for the army if it would help?

As ever commission work has been dominating my work bench, but I managed to sneak another support card out this weekend (as well as doing a lot of magnetising and tweaking for my storage case).
