Hi Guys,
Have had a chance to try an attempt a minature of the son gone bad! Had a look at some pics on the web and various minatures and took some of the main features to try an use,

The large clawed hand i wanted to try and bend the fingers/claws but plasti card is hard to bend so i had some bits of sprues from FW model and shaved of little sharp bits and as the resins fairly soft and flexible it bent really well, also it sticks better with superglue than plasti card I managed to get all five digits and the thum bent across so even anatomically correct

The other feature was the large mace, luckily i had a metal GW chaplins mace so used this with a longer handle glue on

The other thing was his shoulder pads they are the old termie design i was tempted to greenstuff these but used .5mm plasti card, cut, bent and glued on, then green stuffed the bear skin on the shoulders and back and glued three spikes to the top

Anyway managed to get some paint on the rouge son, he came out pretty well all in all im pretty happy, they look a lot better in person as with all 6mm stuff, Have just put both minatures on an epic stand for now mainly to stop me loosing or dropping them.

Will do the other winged son and then build a greenstuff base with the round minature base inprinted so i can bluetack the figures in then remove them when needed..... The heresy armys i could build would be pretty cool if only a certain man with talent would make some decent beakys

Hi Guys,

After finishing the last couple of minatures, I have had a chance to try the winged son, Just added the plasti card wings and ran some greenstuff along the outside to give the wings a bit more presence, Looks strange at the moment but went painted and inked im think it will look alright, ,,Added some hair, armour and some shoulder pads, also his pointed sharp sword!

Once the armour is painted gold im going to try a paintjob that i saw on the web, its basically a large red circle,,gem on each shoulder pad and one on the breast plate, these red gems have green floral going round the outside which should break the minature up a bit,,



Will get some pics of the three together when the winged son is painted

Cheers for the comments folks, Have had a chance to get some paint on the winged son, Have just blue tacked all three to a base for now but will do a diorama with the green marble floor when i get chance

Frogbear as for producing these i dont have the skills mate or i would, The problem with converting is you just build as you go and dont build with the intention of moulding or i would of left arms etc seperate.
