No retardant. It also helps that these symbols are no more than 5mm in length :D . Just a simple wet palette and good brush is enough. As for the precision, the brush helps A LOT! I've been painting with W&N Series 7 brushes for over a year, and the difference is astonishing. The amount of fluid paint the brush can hold, is very important

The durability of these is also simply outstanding. I've been painting with the same brush for 8 months on a daily basis and no sign of wear in sight. The initial investment is high, but I haven't bought new brushes for over a year now. I bought 3 in February last year, and I haven't even touched the 3rd one.

Actually no, it's the original Firestrom Turret from Forgeworld. The detail is amazing, but It's way too fiddle. It's a nightmare to assemble and unbend the Lasers. I would not recommend them to anyone. I dread the day when I have to pick up the other 4 laying around....
