Yeah Chris, I  thought it was a multi-melta, just looked kinda "too big" ??? ....

Its very interesting indeed to find out about all these Epic models that were never officially released.. makes me wonder what stuff they've made for 40k and WH and never brought out... :l

the Stuff of Legends website is great for seeing some of the 40K and fantasy stuff which never made the shops, or in some cases did, but not for very long.

If you have a look at this page you can see some rare Space Marine Riding Lizards - I actually bought these when they came out (and sold them on eBay for silly amounts only recently).

However though Star Wars-ish they would make a very nice unit for Epic?

Those would be "cool" in Epic scale.  The boys at G/W watch a lot of movies & TV ...  :D

Jimbo,

Irregular makes a really neat 6mm lizard rider sci-fi figure. It would be pretty easy to chop off the top of the figure and slap on an Epic top. I've been wanting to model some of the odder IG units in the 28mm Codex for some time.
