Getting a little bored with Marines this end; today i'm starting work on these two:

I'm aiming for a grey and gold colour scheme (progress below), nice and clean with some black lining and nice higlighing effects to boot. Work will resume on the boys in blue once i'm happy with how these have come out.  Will keep you posted,

Blacklining, grey highlights and gold edging done; details to be filled in.  I'm still practicing with blacklining so it's a bit thick and/or messy in places...
What do people think of the colour scheme?

Nice Warhounds. I like your color scheme, MoK.

The two Warhounds are down now, still getting used to blacklining though; can anyone give me any tips? I recall washing up liquid being mentioned?
Not overtly please with how the plasma blastgun cam out but iverall they're better than the bright yellow that was on them beforehand!

Oh yes! And i've got a daylight bulb no so i expect painting to carry on into the night from here on in :-), Me: 1, British Winter Time: 0

The more I see those old warhounds the more I like them. I still like the FW ones better but these have a very nice aesthetic as well.

I like the colours MoK nice job of the painting too. My first Warhounds are painted sort of similar but still unfinished. I still prefer this type of Warhounds, accept no substitutes. Although I know I will probably end up with one or two of the new GW ones as a Legendary Leader Command Titan type thing...

Cheers guys, think i'll touch up the eyes a little but soon move on to the SM predators.
Does anyone have anything they'd really like to see me work on next?
Khorne Chaos Armies? Nid's (I', thinking PURPLE for these guys!)? Goff's? Feral Orks (not a comlete army due to cash)? aeronautica Tau?, a few IG bits?
I need something to spur me on here!
Just went to a really good gig in bristol this end; very relaxed :-). What does everyone else do on a weekend if not wargaming?

Thanks Markonz; i'll get on it tommorow maybe.

It would seem (what with the tale of tactical wargamers taking place) that it'll be nids next; but i'll probably keep this thread bumped up to date by painting guard and eldar spares in between.

In the meantime though i've got to finish my marines! My target is to have a 3k force painted by new year (there'll be more than that done but i've a specific list in mind) as i've a game to play against a mate then and to finish painting the rest after that.

So i need to paint-
-Drop Pod Markers
-4 Terminator Stands
-4 Scout Stands
-2 Landspeeders
-1 Hunter
-Battle Barge.

Today i painted the aformetioned Terminators though they still need basing correctly.

EDIT: Gah! What's that on the chaplains face?! Looks like i was being a bit sloppy whilst doing the goblin green on the base; will have to do that helmet again...

Heh, I have had the same issue. Looks good to the naked eye, but then the macro photography brings out ANY imperfection.

They look good!

The green is the first signs of his shift over to Nurgle of course.  :;):
