They did have models... they were small single-barreled guns that plugged into the rear two holes on the plastic warlord titan (Where the banner poles normally go).

1/350th scale CIWS mounts?

(If only I could find a source for them that doesn't involve buying a $75 model ship!)

As the design of a multi-laser has changed since those miniatures were made, all you need is a 40k-scale lasgun barrel & muzzel.

Multilasers look more like lascannons with several tightly bound barrels than a clear gatling system now. Lasguns, although not perfect, are pretty close.

Well, gatling system wouldn't really be needed for lasers (as I doubt that they heat the barrel on firing).

I was just wondering about this (with regard to Inquisitor rules for multilasers, actually): do they actually revolve?

I always assumed that they did. However you're right that the newer models don't seem to have that many barrels, rather one clover-shaped one. Anyone got one to hand - does it look like it revolves?

As for a "fluff" explanation, the laser capacitor might take an amount of time (perhaps only a fraction of a second), but a weapon with several laser barrels and capacitors could fire more frequently, perhaps. Uh, but that would still require the same amount of power...

The Rapier light support weapons in SM1 and 2 are multilasers.  And both the Mk.1 and 2 have 4 barrels, stacked 2x2 ... So unlike a Gatling type weapon of today or even a multi-barreled Power Gun used on Hammer's AFVs (M9s main or M2s secondaries), the Epic Multilasers should not need to revolve ... But regardless the Titan Multilaser do look cool !
