With my return to epic after so many years there had to be a new army

Yup togheter with the orks i had that will be a good force.
I already had the contents of the epic 40k box set, an ork warband and 6 battlewagons.

And all the above cost me £120 +p&p.

Worth every dime, but try explaining that to the better half. They never listen eh

"This? Oh, I bought this months ago - it just never got built/painted/used."

True, but you must remain calm and keep eye contact... they can smell fear.

I long ago stopped fearing she'd notice another model that wasn't brought inside in her presence. It's like walking up to a glaciar and exclaiming "Hey! That chunk of ice wasn't there yesterday!"

Well if you pay it from the bank account and the day after she checks the balance, there's no explaining that :p

She didn't mind though, if you don't count the usual comments:

-were are you gonna keep putting that
- so much for a heap op plastic
etc.....

I used to have things mailed to me at work and then smuggle them in when my ex-wife wasn't home. all my Epic stuff was near my workbench, so my ex didn't really know how much stuff i had or when new things came into the house.

I had the Epic40000 box sent to me at work, stripped all the miniatures out and bought them home in my lunchbox, then I sold the box and books, and shipped it back out a few weeks later from work, my wife never even noticed the pile of orks and marines appear on the shelf......

That's a great haul of stuff- definitely good bargain and nice variety of units to pull an army together. And great Orky kunning and wot-nots to get it past the missus.
