I just recieved some archive squat bits with my last GW order. Funny thing. They're made of the new style metal, not lead! This leads me to believe they're re-casting the old squat equipment? But while one hand claps, the other is no longer holding any cash. They're some of the most expensive bitz i've ever gotten.

I would guess that you are US then. The UK MO used to be really friendly about that kind of thing, and when you ordered they would say that you can have whatever, but it might be an extra few days as they need to pop next door and cast it. Nowdays, you are lucky to get stuff that is just lying on a shelf and they wont make up anything, especially bits. I cant see why this would be a problem. The molds are there and the metal exists. They wont do 40K Squats because they dont want to support them or encourage them. That is not such a major issue with anything Epic. Still, good news. What did you get?

Yeah, I noticed this. I can't beleive the large differences between the two sites. I buy from GW US all the time. Being another capitalist pig yank. Did senior jervis say that they were not going to make any old peices or just until all the EA junk is released? It may be a good idea for the US production site to obtain the old molds from the UK production site. I don't know. Just a thought.

Hi!
I concur wiht signius and legion4, GW US, for whatever reasons seems to be able to get you a great variety of epic minis, of course at a HIGH cost, but still you can get them. Heck, I even got some of those Eldar exodites that never saw the light of day under SM.
I wonder how much autonomy GWUS has in relation to GWUK.

Who know's. It seems like two completely different companies that just happen to sell the same thing. Now that you mention it. I need some exodites. I have one set only.

They'll recast them. I haven't put the resources into the eldar armies as I have the imperail. Aside from not having any dropships or psi titans, I am pretty happy with my imperail forces. I can finally start building my puny eldar forces up. They seemed a decent size six months ago, but now, pathetic. My buddy seems to think he has the baddest eldar army around. I will post the list he sent me on the other thread.

Yeah...so do I. The Eldar force needs a major revaming. I am going to take over the construction of the army from my friend. He thinks because he has 10 titans that he is the big boy on the block. He doesn't think that he needs to build any further. How wrong he is. Where can I find a nice sized Eldar list to show the creep?

I could catalogue my Eldar. I probably have at least 20,000 - 50,000 points painted.

..Being in the UK, I guess we've just got to hope that GW UK decides to offer the back catalouge Epic minis at some point after the release of Epic A... I would think it wouldn't be too hard, as they offer all manner of ancient 40K and WH stuff..

The rumor that I've heard is that GW-UK is stopping bitz altogether.
Can anyone make truth of this rumor?
Apparently, they thought it was too much of a pain and it wasn't making enough money.
That's the rumor anyway.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

I'll just have to get my bits from GW US
Am I right in thinking that there are two sets of moulds, one in the UK and one in the US?
And does the US online store list all the Epic models avaliable in the US?

Cheers

I think that that rumour is incredibly unlikely.. I can imagine a lot of very unhappy people if that ever happened.... (including me)!!
>>>Am I right in thinking that there are two sets of moulds, one in the UK and one in the US? Yes I believe so- thats why GW US is still offering Epic metal stuff...
>>>And does the US online store list all the Epic models avaliable in the US? It lists some of the Epic40k range, but not all of it..
Hope that helped..
