Necron Monolith

I've failed E&C yet again and not finished the monolith, very nearly though.
Also apologies for the wonky crystal, that'll be changed asap.
These are photos from last week, I'll get up to date ones soon.

Wow, fancy.

How does that scale with regards to a 40k Monolith? 1/5 the size? Also what's the thing next to it? An Obelisk?

The thing next to it is another epic monolith, the mark 1 that I was told was too small, hence the second version. It's not scaled from a 40K monolith as I don't own one, and the design has been elongated to make it more elegant - how I feel necrons should be.

I've enhanced the colours on one or two of them to show the details, the black is a bit flat otherwise.

The guns I've made fit the smaller monolith, so gonna have to make some bigger ones before they're ready. The arc over the back is made but no pics of that yet, mebbe tomorrow if I can get a camera.

Excellent decision to make it longer and taller - it really improves the look! Far nicer than simply scaling from the quite boxy looking 40K version.

It has indeed been sprayed black, I figured I could cast it in clear or bright green for my flashy light up spectacles of necron supremacy!
