Ok, I've got pics. The painting sucks, the models suck, the photographing sucks, but they're orks!

Now tell me what you think:

The buggiez, in the shape of dethwheelz, with a dethwheel speedsta (still need basing):


The big mek's mob, their wheelz stuck on stuff humies call blu-tac:

Interesting - looks promising, especially the range of vehicles in the big meks mob, but I think I need to see them painted up in rusty ork colour schemes to get the full effect!

I agree with Markconz, a little colour will bring them to life, particularly like the little tractor in the middle of the Meks Mob. Not completly sold on the dethwheelz yet but then I'm not completly sold on the entire concept of such a vehicle posited by GW either.

Ok, the Big Mek's Mob (Freekuz' Mob) is painted. Not all rusty & stuff, but IMO orky nonetheless!

Nice paintjobs  :)  Do you know what I think would mprove the look of mostl models 100% though? Track links - I guess that would mean adding dozens of tiny rectangles to all the models though... at the moment it looks a bit much like a flat metal band with no tread on it IMHO.

I thought about that too, but I kinda was lazy, and four of the wagons have very flat tracks. I could still do it, maybe with ironwire for the flat-tracked wagons.

I was also thinking about adding yellow and chequered details to the deth wheelz, what do you guys think of that?

Anyway, I must be going now, on a short scouting camp, I'll be back on sunday.

I think checks would be good, a little detail generally helps even with bought models.
Some definition to the tracks/wheels as Markconz suggests will also help.
Have a good trip and don't get too wet :laugh:
