Yep, another bases question.
started some small work on my chaos force again, and I've actually based my Chaos Rhinos and quite like them. I've only got bog standard grass flock on the base.
So To match the Chaos Champion to the Rhino, I flocked them with grass too.
Now looking at my Chaos Daemon Lords, I'm thinking of putting something on the base too and wondering if I should just stick to grass flock, or if i should put some variation on the base like sand/grass or stone/grass.
The battle scene I will eventually have them on is a lush untouched green planet.

For consistency keep the bases the same, personally I think it works better more so when the force colour scheme is less consistent than a Codex Astartes force.

I personally like a mix of PVA with sand (or flock) and Vallejo's Piedra Pomez.

Flock, static grass, etc., I use them all !
