Ultramarines gallery

My pet project is to rebuild the UM Chapter at Epic scale with a decent level of painting (not just dipping each SM in the blue paint).

Hi CorwinB,
impressive!  - and the work in progress shelves look like being loads of fun!
Is it my impression or are the boards filling up with even more great and dedicated painters and modellers at a fast rate of late? :D

Tell that to my wife. :p
I need to update those WIP pics, though, they are pretty outdated now.

Hey - deal opportunity here: I'll tell your wife, if you tell mine!

I really should post some pics of my workzone which also serves as WIP storage, with poor old Deffsta the Gargant starting to look like a permanent fixture.  :{

Very nice indeed, I don't think I'll ever build up to that many Ultra's but combined with my BA's I'd get pretty close.

Yes I know, but with so many full Ultramarine chapters floating around an investigation needs to be started.....all, bar one, are imposters :blues:
I may have only a handful but they are the 'real' ones :D

Very nice.
I just got a big package today. I now have the first 7 companies of UM's (not including support). The painting ranges from "O My God" good to "gotta re do these" terrible.
I have plenty of painting to do.

Also have enough for 4 more Chapters (minus Assault and Devastators). I think some will end up on the side of Chaos as fillers.

Now if the other (bigger load) ever gets here....
I am shooting for 8 Chapters. :p ?That doesn't include Chaos, Ork, Eldar, Slaan/Necron, Smurfs! :O ?They are coming to take me away. haha hoho hehe...... :p  :O

Yeah, I have Ultramarines as well, but as it was my first army I collected, I haven't touched these for a while. Been trying to rebuild my chaos army that I sold many moons ago.

I have 1st company of Terminators. And four other complete companies I've dubbed Goblin Smashers, Golden Gunners, Tyranid Slayers and Lightning Strike.

When I eventually get back to doing SM, I'll probably try the build special characters and squads for different chapters though. All on my "to do" list.

From the look of these impressively painted Ultramarines, I may need to revisit mine sometime. Another job to add to the list.
