Really hard to say (I know that's not all that helpful). Personally I'd say the value is less than it was, only because there are a lot more options for 6mm scale terrain these days, and the FW stuff doesn't stand out in quality compared to other options the way it used to.
To be honest if it were me I'd ignore the price element and first think about whether I wanted to incorporate it into my table and was prepared to put the effort into doing it in the next few weeks. It might be worth something, in a way that 2nd-hand terrain usually isn't, and so this is not an item just to hang on to on the off chance you might use it one day. If the price is really a major determinant in the answer to that then you can always list it on eBay with a reserve - what would it have to be worth for you to sell it?
Also if price is a major factor, you may be better off stripping it anyway. Chances are if you're prepared to pay a lot for a terrain piece, time is worth more than the cash

Just be careful stripping resin...
