That's really a wonderful work.

Can you tell us how you made the road? I'm trying to make something good enough as bitumen, but the results aren't great. I would like to obtain something like you did, if it is possible to know.

You can do bitumen using sand paper. I have made roads using laser cut Perspex, then glued fine grade wet and dry sandpaper to it. For cats eyes in the middle of the road I measured and drilled holes. Then I glued fine pins in place with the head flush against the sandpaper. Then clipped off the back of the pin.

Elsemore, apologies for jacking the thread.

Cheers
Aaron

Daaaaaammmmmmn... That's a mighty sweet army you've got there, sir! :o This is the kind of army that wins Golden Daemons and gets people interested in the game!

This is possibly the best epic army collection I've ever seen truly beautiful work

I'm not sure if I should put my paint brush down for ever or get painting right away

Nice work

Your army is inspiring me to paint my own Blood Angels :)

I vaguely remember thinking about this when I started. Not sure why I didn't go blue TBH! :eh I'd repaint the heads, but I think the detail might suffer too much.

I reckon you should go back and repaint the helmets in the appropriate colours, it's the only negative with the army for me and doing it properly would be worth any small loss of detail. It'd add a bit more interest and distinctiveness between the units from a distance.

I finally managed to get my BA formations finished and photographed. Quite happy with the way they turned out, though there's always room for improvement! I'll try to get a more in-focus army shot once I've painted the Landing Craft and SG formation.

360 degree photos of all formations on my MiniWars profile:

WOW !!!! Looks 40K scale !!!!!!
