What are you going to use for the "water" on that Gorganzola base?  Resin, woodland sceics, etc.

Looking into woodland scenics at the mo. Just a two part resin as the majority though. scenics water effect on top maybe.

Wow! That is an excellent force. I love the scenic bases, the loaded infantry and, of course, the painting is really crisp as well.

Please give me a PM if you ever cast some of those Stormhammer turrets.

That'll have been me making those. There are a few around out there that select individuals have recieved. I'll do my best to get a decent cast from my mould and see if I can produce some more.

For water effects, I've gotten very consistent results using Futures Floor Finish (plus color) + GW 'Ardcoat.

It provides a very satisfying "wet" look, can be layered and no resin odors. Dries fairly quickly as well.

It does not do "depth" like a resin will, but that may not be an issue at the Epic scale.

Gorgons carry 50 troops in 40k, so they carry 10 units in epic.

Not that this has anything to do with the gorgonzola.
