Brothers While reading the thread for epic releases and seeing the actual model of the marine lander, I decided to scratchbuild a marine lander that was more suited to my idea of a lander. I have made rough sketches of the vehicle and tried to figure out the different payloads. Here are some ideas, LMK if this could work Trojan SM landing craft w/5 units of transport LR & var. - 1 unit, Rhino & var. - 1/2 unit SM squad-1/2 unit Bike squad-1 unit LS & var.-1/2 unit Bunker-2 1/2 units Armament- 3 assault cannon turrets, 2 las-cannon/hvy bolter turrets, 1 hvy weapon/laser dorsal mount. possibly rockets/missiles, internal bomb bay void shields I tried to combine the armament of the T-hawk with the payload configuration of the C-17 transport aircraft. I'll try to post the sketches or if someone could help me post them that would be better.

What do you mean by bunkers? Do you mean it can carry a fortification of some kind?
It looks okay, but I cant remember the SM landers stats now to compare it to.
Is it to be a warmachine? Are Preds only 1/2 units too? As they are a bit bigger than rhinos (bulky sponsons etc)
What sort of design/appearance is it to have?

SH, to answer your questions yes it is meant to carry a type of portable fortification like that suggested in FP 1 for the T-hawk.
I don't know about the lander stats either, this was just a basic idea to start with.
Definately a war machine; I was doing mock payloads with 40k scale vehicles and it looked practical to have a Pred as 1/2 a unit
The Trojan is to be a 4 engine heavy lander, low-winged with several turrets housing assault cannons. it will also have a single dorsal turret mounting twin las-cannons(ala B-17). I can send you the sketches I've made if you want to give you a better idea.

Yeah okay, or you could link them here for everyone to view (using Yahoo briefcase or something).
I haven't any of the firepower mags, so missed that article for the TH carrying fortifications.
I think insteand of saying rhinos are 1/2 and LR are 1 etc, the transport desription should be changed to whole numbers. Rhinos=1 LR=2. It makes it a little simpler. Then you have transport capacity 10.
How are the items to be transported? Internally I'm guessing. Is the entrance front (TH style) or rear (C-130 style)? I suppose I'll see that from the drawing.
It sounds a large flyer, so I would give it around 2-4 DC using EpicA rules. And that depends upon if it has void shields or not.
If it does, I'd give it a 2 D.C. If not then 3 or 4 D.C.
