Too late...so how many of those guys did you get at ?2 a piece? And what else is going into this Grey Kights force, vehicle and stand wise?
Cheers
Chris | Thought I'd reply here as its not directly competition related.
I have a couple of dozen of them. I use all my spare cash on them at every show I go to, and am rather lucky in knowing Mr Will hayes as well
What else is going in the force? At least four stands of Grey Knights. Seekermeng converted me up a Landraider, a Command Rhino, Comms Rhino & couple of others with =][= insignia etc so they'll be there (tho not for competitions). I've been fiddling with ideas for a drednought or two, but nothing so far I'm happy with I want to convert/sculpt a few more Inquisitor characters, probably try and do some 6mm versions of the 40K pieces, and some henchmen. I've got a number of conversions mid way as Terminator options. None are really good copies of the 40K ones yet, but I'm changing the armour style of the current minis to make them stand out more. If I can get something I like, then a coupe of stands of them. Finally, I really want to do something with a Thunderhawk, but that will be the last piece.
All of this is going to take a VERY long time, so dont expect to see much too soon!

Cool! I'd love to see it all finished, with the Terminators and Thunderhawk!
So why are you not using the converted rhino's and Land Raiders for competitions? Because you didn't convert them?
Cheers
Chris

Chris | Yup, basically because they're not my work. Whilst I never expect to win GD, just try to drum up some interest in epic & the sites, I didnt get a permission reply from Meng so They'll not be included in any entry for anything.
I'm not 100% comfortable withthe concept anyway, if I did ever win, I'd feel wrong knowing somebody else's work was on display as well as my own.

Kudos to you Tuffskull.
Such an attitude of integrity is a rare and precious thing these days.
I hope that doesn't sound condesending at all, it is genuine respect.

Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. | With the work on the IG army, the one stand that can be seen in the competitions single unit catagory is my only copleted piece!

| Did you ask for one and I missed it? If so, my apologies. Feel free to do with them as you will. They are your babies now. I have faith that you will dress them up pretty and make them the best wee beasties they can be.

Chris | LOL, no need to worry Chris, I'll certainly keep going with it, but even _I_ have a limit on the amount of time I can devote to painting my own stuff each week & the IG have priority over these guys!
I'll get bored of speed painting and return to silly detail soon enough, always do
