dropped 1.5 liter cola bottle on top of my chaos lord and his 13 chaos knight unit...  non survived intact...

they all in a box waiting for me to finish my epic IG...

Ok not directly epic related but this reminds me of another peril of this sort of hobby.

I, for some time now, had a personal rule about not painting anywhere near drinks in cups.  Its just too easy to dip the brush into the drink not the paint water. :sigh:

Some of you may also remember that a while back (what, 5 years?) there was a supply issue with shadow grey paint and for a month or so GWs were out of stock of it. I managed to track down one pot in an independent stockist, got home, opened the pot to paint my new space wolves and promptly spilled the then unavailable shadow grey onto some soft furnishings :_( ..the space wolves had to wait

I had a 'little accident' with My First Titan when I was about 12. I tried contacting the tech-priests to fix it but I never heard back  :_(

About 2 weeks later, I was able to replace it with a stash I was able to find off ebay.

So embarrassment.

at least it wasn't the garbage disposal.

Does it count as an accident when the wife is home and gets "yet another" box of hobby stuff that I hoped would come in on a Saturday???? :whistle:

I usually say it was part of a TRADE and not a purchase.

Mine was when I was on the way to an Epic tourney many, many years ago.  I was on my way out of my flat when I had to dodge another student flying up the stairs. As he passes me he clips my carry case and it falls out of my grasp.  6000pts of epic orks, most freshly painted and including three Gargants, come cascading out when the clips on the case fail.  Down they fall three flights of concrete stairs.  The plastics survived.  The metals didn't.  All of my multi-part models were lying in pieces all over the stairs.  Luckily I found everything.  Unluckily I missed my bus and therefore the tournament and I also had used up the last of my superglue so could not perform any repairs.  I was not a happy camper.
