Post subject: | Stands |
Hi! We have a WhatsApp group for spanish people and a recurring theme, especially when a noob enters, is that of the bases. Quote: • A stand may be no more than 40mm and no less than 5mm across in any direction. • A stand must be at least 20mm across in one direction (i.e., a 5mm by 5mm stand is not allowed, but a 5mm by 20mm stand would be okay). • Stands representing infantry units must have at least three infantry models and may not have more than seven. Infantry mounted on bikes or horses must have between two and four models mounted on each base. • Stands representing artillery must have between one and two artillery pieces and up to six crew models. This is what the Tournament pack says. The usual question is how big they should be. According to that, would a 4x4cm base be legal? Or when you say "across in any direction" it also means measuring diagonally? |

Anything between 5x20mm and 40x40mm is allowed. The diagonal measurement has been mentioned before, but that would make the standard 12x40mm "strip" bases illegal. I'm assuming they said "across" and not "edge" as it would infer that circles are illegal. |
