I'm looking to include the spray template in the Chaos titan fannish list I'm very slowly doing.

Obviously it'd be a list specific rule, but I'm aware of the dangers of precedent.

How would people like it to be approached:

1) As a specified attack of APX+ / ATY+. The template is merely used to see who's hit.

2) As a variant of the BP rules. Basically all spray templates must be placed with the narrow end touching the base of the shooting model, and each template counts as 2BP for purposes of extra templates, BM's and damage modifiers. All of the rules for BP apply.
Normal BP and Spray BPs may not be stacked.

Take a look at the original BL/LatD lists (on the wiki), they used it. It was removed in favor of going with a 15cm 3-4BP weapon though.

As Dave states, a 15cm BP weapon accomplishes much the same thing without the need for new rules.

If your mind is made up, though, of the choices, I'd go with #1.

there's very few things imy mind is made up on.

I think it'd be a nice gimmick for the titans, (the plauge lord already has it), but I only need 4 basic weapons so a ccw, close range lobba/spray, medium range gatling and medium range cannon would fit the bill just as nicely.
