Hi all, I've found some different doubts with overwatch, which I couldn't find resolved neither in the books nor in the masterFAQ (I don't discard blindness):
1) Does a unit that went in to overwatch and then is broken retain the overwatch and be able to shot? I guess it doesn't, but it says nothing specifically (although overwatch is not very different to delaying an action)
2) Does a unit that went into overwatch support a firefight and still retain the overwatch? Looks like it is, even though they're "shooting" before releasing their overwatch.
3) Does a unit that is in overwatch and is assaulted retain overwatch if it wins the combat? And if it loses?

1: no 2: yes, firefight isnt "shooting" since it uses FF and not the ranged weaponry listed on the units stats 3: if it chooses not to shoot upon being charged, and wins, then yes. if it loses, it is broken, so no

Just as I thought then. Thanks. The implications of the other possibilities were so weird.

"Right lads - those filthy greenskins are charging beta company, give'm some covering fire. Jones, keep your goggles on, if those gunwagons come over the hill, we're wiping them out."
Arrrgh!, Kommando ambush. Thwack!, Everyone ok? Jones, you'd better have kept your goggles on...
