This one goes out to those doing the NetEA Army book:

With the January 2011 release date gone, and still no publication, I was wondering what is going to happen for January 2012 when army list updates (if any) are going to take place?

Will the document be updated January-yearly (including 2012) to take into account changes that are planned to be made and sat idle through 2011?

I want to know this as being one of the developers of up to 3 lists, it is important that I plan for updates and making sure they are published at the right time so as they gain the optimum playtest into the new year.

Is it viable to make the release date first week January 2012 at this stage?

Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

Hmmm.
I've been holding out making my Players Pack for our upcomming tournament in the hope of having this Army Book available.
I fully understand real life can slow things down but I am hopeful that something appears in the next week or two.
Is this a possibility? fingers crossed

I read that as Neal referring to one of the volunteers rather than himself there? Either way though I hope we get to see it soon, or at least get some kind of update as to what's happening.

I would think it would be best to aim the yearly updates to one year from when the document goes live rather than the original aim of January now.

There is some movement going on behind the scenes, apparently, regarding the composition of the ERC. I'd hope to see things move fast once all that is settled.
