Hello, It's possible to place a character on upgrade unit ? Two examples (but there are many others): an Imperial Commissar on a base of Ogryns or Space Marines Archivist in a Land raider upgrade ? You know a rule or a "ruling" (with source / link please) that prohibited this? Thank you in advance (and excuse my English ^^)! Chris |

The only place where you can't do it is in the Black Legion list I believe. |

Barring explicit restrictions, characters can go in any unit in the formation. There are a few characters with restrictions outside Black Legion, though. Ork Warlords, for example. |

WHAA! Chaplain Dreads? whoa.... how do you do that? i had never thought of that or if it was possible.. it would be an inspiring dreadnaught leading a unit of marines.. reminds me of Bjorn the fell handed. You just do; you're allowed by the rules to add the character upgrade to whatever member of the unit you like. |

that sounds so wrong and fun at the same time,, also i thought it was a guard commisar thing only, but now i GOTTA paint up a dread as a chaplain |

People keep requesting Venerable Dreadnoughts or putting them in new Marine lists...but they've been in the Codex Marine list all the time! |
