Ok.  My local epic group meets every other thursday at the Chicago Battle Bunker, this week I didn't go because I'm getting over a cold, and I received a phone call from one of the guys asking me an interesting rules question.  He thought that he had read somewhere in the rules or some of the errata that a unit that marches cannot control an objective.  I looked through the recently released updated rulebook and couldn't find anything.  Was he wrong to think that there was a rule like that?

That was actually a rule in the pre-released playtest rules from *years* ago, but was not incorporated into the published rules or any of the errata documents, nor in any of the NetEA suggestions.

It's fine as a house rule though and many people enjoy playing with that restriction.

It has come up on here recently in one of the many "I got beat by Tactic A, Tactic A sucks and is broken let's ban it" threads.
