Greetings from the NetERC!

The NetEA Army Project grinds forward, but it needs your help!  Creeping errors (that is, Chaos!) are always a problem and it would be greatly appreciated if people could review the linked document to try to weed out any problems.

Okay, I've attached the Space Marines section for review.

It contains:

Standard Marines
White Scars
Scions of Iron
Black Templars
Blood Angels
Dark Angels
Raven Guard
Salamanders

I've hesitated on including fairly untested lists like Iron Fists, and Space Wolves, but let me know if you think they should be included in some fashion, as this document is not to be an "exclusive" listing.  If there's a Chapter/army list that's been missed, or mistakes/errors made, let us know!

I've taken some liberties with unit stats for new lists (and one old one!).  Going over so many lists reveals that many "Chapter-specific" units are simply the regular units with a new special ability or such added.  To eliminate the proliferation of a horde of datafaxes that are almost identical, for the most part, I've listed the normal unit names in variant lists and provided a special rule box that talks about the unit modifications.  Dark Angels were particularly bad for this with seven "new" datafaxes for the Deathwing and Ravenwing when it was, essentially, just leader and fearles and scout added to various core units.

Please let me know what you think about that, as many of the Imperial Guard regiments have the same issue.  For me, it saves space and seems much more elegant for a 'workbook' presentation.  Note that this document is NOT designed as a "supplement" were such details and individual datafaxes with pictures and such are desired; an army's "unique" units can easily be shown in such a setting where they just clutter up a workbook.

First: Very good work! Thank you for all your efforts  :agree:

But here ome errors i spotted:
Furisio Dreadnought should be Furioso Dreadnought.

There Predator Incinerator ahs some lines in bilt and italics where they should be non-formated.

On the left side often the black border of the tables is intersected with grey borders.

All mentioned special abilities  should begin with a capital letter (most evident in the Dark Angels and White Scars special rules and in the Salamanders armylist).

But i'm surprised that you chosed to include the Dark Angels at all. And then you selected my version instead of TRCs plasma cannon toting version.

Raven Guard is also questionable as with the Dark Angels i'm not sure that these two lists have been play tested enough.

Instead of "Feel the Burn" i would use "Cleanse and Burn!" as that is the standard phrase innovels when someone uses a flamer  :p
And you shouldnote that the Multi-melta gives the units FF-value MW and that the Heavy Flamer gives the units FF-value Ignore Cover.

ok Black Templar missing things: The Emperor's Champion needs Fearless in his notes, as far as i can see that the only thing you missed.

ok so I was going to release V3.5 of the Black Templars some time next week Chroma if you like i can post the changes up here for you to put in the Compendium now?

That is why they should be tagged as "Experimental", I may have stamped the Raven Guard incorrectly.

As to the Salamander version, I thought that was your and T_R_C's combined version, have I gotten the wrong one?  I went via the Wiki link and I can list both of you as "Sub-Champs"... unless you want to fight to the death over it!   :heart-break:

And, just so everyone knows, no slights or insults are intended in these choices, all errors, ommissions, and offences are purely accidental!  (Unless otherwise specified!   :p )

Ah didn't see that there are different stamps.

The Salamanders (TRCs and my combined project) are as finished as eg the Scions of Iron or the Blood Angels.

For Dark Angels there is really no consesus. Currently there is my version (which  you used) and TRCs version. A combination of our two visions seems to be a good idea.

And i send you a black on white Salamanders chapter symbol via e-mail:)

Me too expecially the Raven Guard too because i never ever have seen a battlereport with them nor that anyone mentioned to have played with them iirc.

But if the aim of this lists is to be made more public so that they could be more tested then the better :)

I like the lists. I noticed the alternating grey and white unit entries double up grey on the Vulcan Dred and Pred Ind.

My big issue is the fact that my beloved Legion isn't awesome and tricked out. Ok I know we need game balance but why no Mortis Dred or LR variants for the DA? And I would prefer a plasma toting version if its out there?

One nitpicky thing: The chapters name is Salamanders not Salamander :) Same as it is Blood/Dark Angels and Space Wolves, etc.
